WHAT IS WOMEN IN BUSINESS?

Women in Business is a program of the Miami Regional Chamber of Commerce.  The program is designed to equip businesswomen with the knowledge, strategies, and resources needed to navigate challenges and achieve success in the workplace, as well as provide opportunities to connect with other businesswomen from the Miami/Ottawa County area.  The WIB Quarterly Luncheon is a unique opportunity to build business connections while learning how to develop skills that will assist you in your rise to success as a woman in business.

STEPS TO MAKE YOUR WOMEN IN BUSINESS LUNCHEON SUCCESSFUL:

  • Bring plenty of business cards. You are guaranteed to be handing these out at this event!
  • Do research! If you are looking to meet specific businesses and industries, ask the organizer of the event to connect you.
  • Make an effort to meet someone new.
  • Active Listening. Find connections by listening and following up with other Chamber Members.
  • Give your business card to the Chamber team to be included in a prize drawing at the end of the event.
